Radio UNAL Panel // Análisis UNAL: "Resistencia y Desobediencia Civil"
In April of 2024 students and faculty of the National University of Colombia went on strike in response to what they identify as a lack of transparency regarding how the new university rector was selected and confirmed. In response to the on-going situation, I was honored to be invited by journalist Jairo Currea and UNAL Professor Dr. Clement Roux to participate in an analysis discussion with legal experts and a feminist rights activist about how art and artists contribute to public debate and democratic proceses.
The panel took place in Spanish and was part of my Fulbright Scholar Fellowship in Bogotá, Colombia.
